Stainless Steel Wire for Thermal Spray Coatings

In the first stage of thermal spray technology development, graduated from the California Institute of Technology Rea Axline in 1993 in New Jersey, USA created only five employees (including George Lufkin from Caltech and Herb Ingham) of Metallizing Engineering Company application and development of the Schoop process, in order to engage in wire spraying equipment mechanical parts and a simple spray corrosion repair. Later renamed METCO INCORPORATED. In 1938 the development of a higher rate of Type -E Gun spraying wire spray gun, can be sprayed as a 3.2mm diameter wire. Also developed Metcoloy 1 and Metcoloy 2(SS420) two different stainless steel spray wire. METCO later became an important influence in the important field of thermal spraying enterprises.
