A: Type of ceramic anilox roller  

According to the surface material: metal chromium plating, chromium oxide ceramics, tungsten carbide and so on in the processing of mesh hole anilox roller surface plating a layer of chromium or ceramics, called surface coating, its main role is to improve the wear resistance of anilox roller and prevent solvent corrosion of the base copper layer. According to the matrix material: steel, aluminum alloy, carbon fiber composite material processing size accuracy and geometric accuracy, have a direct impact on the ink transfer accuracy. Therefore, generally want to pass fine processing, ensure good machining accuracy, so that the size accuracy, surface roughness, geometric accuracy are in line with the quality requirements of aniline roller. The base roller is divided into: belt shaft base roller materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, carbon fiber composite materials, most of the carbon steel) and sleeve (composite materials).

 

B: Processing technology of ceramic anilox roller

Metal anilox roller processing electronic engraving method: in the metal (steel or copper) roller body carved mesh, and then chrome system. Mechanical rolling method: metal roller extrusion to form a mesh, and then electroplated hard chromium made. Ceramic anilox roller processing plasma thermal spraying combined with (base or transition) layer after spraying chromium oxide ceramic; Under the condition of semi-melting ceramic powder, it is sprayed to the surface at high speed to form the coating of semi-melting ceramic particles. It is then carved by laser.

 

Process Flow:

Base roller → roughing treatment → bonding layer → plasma spraying → grinding processing → polishing → laser engraving → fine polishing

 

Divides into base roller shaft and sleeve roughen processing: roughen mainly increase the effect of roll surface and the bonding strength of coating combined with layer: general combination with super stainless steel alloy layer (or: layer) and other alloy material, ensure the ceramic layer with roller strong combination, and can effectively prevent ink solvent into the base of roller. The thickness is usually about 0.1-0.2mm. Plasma spraying: currently the most common technical means, usually using plasma thermal spraying process, spraying chromium oxide ceramic coating, in order to obtain good coating porosity, hardness, bonding strength and other indicators.

Grinding: grinding roller surface through high-precision grinder, dimensional tolerance: ±0.01mm, concentricity: ≤0.01mm, straightness: ≤0.01mm.

Polishing: the roller surface is polished with diamond polishing belt of different specifications to remove the texture of the grinding machine and ensure the smoothness of the roller surface. After polishing, the roughness is Ra 0.03-0.13um.

Laser engraving: Laser engrave machine high precision engraving.

Engrave mesh shape rules, smooth wall, flat bottom, can ensure the accuracy of ink transfer, and mesh cleaning easy.

Engraving mesh number range: 60-2000lpi (line/inch)

Fine polishing: deburr the carved mesh surface and clean the dust after laser engraving.
