Introduction
Ni962 is thermal spray coating materials valued for their outstanding resistance to oxidation and high-temperature corrosion. These coatings are commonly used either as bond coats beneath ceramic top layers or as standalone protective coatings. When applied by plasma spraying, they can provide corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 980 °C (1800 °F), while HVOF application extends protection up to 1050 °C (1920 °F).

1. Oxidation and hot corrosion resistance on gas turbine components such as airfoils, turbine buckets, turbine blades and shrouds
